Learning unit contents
- Circulatory arrest and aorta surgery
- Specific management: cold agglutinins, ideological refusal of transfusion, specific cardiopulmonary bypass for pregnancy, diabetes, chronic and acute kidney disease, refractory hypotension, emergency, redo operation, right herat failure, old patient, coagulopathy, pulmonary embolectomy
- Evidence based practice in perfusion
- Pulstatile flow
- Heart transplantation and specific CPB techniques
- Liver transplantation et specific care, bypass V-V
- Hyperthermia Intraperitoneal Chemeotherapy (HIPEC)
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The purpose of these courses are to provide theoretical bases to the student, in the field of Perfusion so as to provide quality work combining efficiency, technical, diagnosis and therapeutic aspects.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Kwnoledge:
- anatomy of the heart, vessels, kidney, liver and lungs.
- cardiac, respiratory, renal, hepatic and cellular physiologies.
- physiopathologies in the same field
