Contribute to the development of the nursing discipline through the design, implementation and communication, in the form of a scientific article, a research project.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

* Describe and argue a relevant research question for the nursing discipline

* Define a relevant conceptual framework

* Choose and apply a research method relevant to the research question

* Describe in a rigorous and reproducible manner the applied research methodology (type of study, target population, type of sampling, data collection tools, parameters studied, analyzes performed, ethical considerations, etc.)

* Analyze and present the results in a synthetic, in-depth and relevant way, with regard to the objectives of the research carried out and the type of study undertaken (quantitative, qualitative or mixed)

* Guide students and nursing colleagues in conducting research work

*Design, implement, and coordinate local scientific research projects

* Communicate research findings at scientific events and in scientific literature

* Discuss the results obtained by the confrontation with the existing scientific literature

* Take a step back from the results obtained and their interpretation by exercising a critical mind

* Describe the strengths and limitations of the research

* Communicate the results of his research in the scientific literature
