Learning unit contents
The advanced practice nurse is involved in care coordination, guidance and coaching, collaboration, leadership and ethical decision-making. Developing managerial and delegation skills is necessary. The following points will be covered: - Management and leadership - The importance of feedback - The Delegation - Teamwork and teambuilding - Conflict management and resolution
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- Identify the type of management and/or leadership adopted in a situation and know how to propose the most suitable type of management. - Identify your abilities and skills in terms of delegation. - Know the important points to know how to delegate effectively. - Know the important points and the need for feedback. - Recognize the existence of a conflict. Know how to identify the type of conflict, the level of conflict and propose a conflict resolution solution. - Know the constraints and advantages of teamwork. - Identify the different personality types of a team.
