Master a high clinical reasoning in complex care situations.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Identify and describe the concept of clinical reasoning, clinical judgment
 
Know the different ways of thinking used in clinical reasoning and the different levels of reasoning 
 
Consider the impact of experience and expertise on the evolution of clinical reasoning
 
Identify barriers and resources for high clinical reasoning 
 
Reasoning and clinical nursing judgment in complex situations from an interdisciplinary quality perspective

  • Taking into account the complex factors of the holistic situation
  • Include EBN, EBP and quality standards specific to the chosen specialty
  • Orient one's "thoughts" and "actions" with regard to the legal and scientific knowledge of other disciplines/fields commonly accepted by the scientific community
  • Include ethical reasoning in the clinical approach
Share and argue your clinical reasoning to other professionals
