Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

- Critical and multifocal analysis of the FMTTN curriculum: highlighting the contents (two components and eight learning fields), the issues, the aims and the particular characteristics of the FMTTN approach in order to develop in the future teacher a concrete conception of their missions.

- Introduction to primary school programs P3-P4 and P5-P6, as well as secondary programs in the FMTTN specificity.

- Learning nodes, didactic principles and methodological questions specific to digital technology and the different disciplines included in manual, technical and technological training.

- Study of educational resources, particularly those identified by disciplinary consortia, and their degree of validation in relation to the research literature.

- Discovery of different trace productions (diagram, video, model, portfolio, etc.)

- Construction of an educational activity for S3 students with a view to its implementation during the Haute École internship in Q2 (UE Stratégies pédagogiques).

- Use of observations made during the internship.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this unit, students will be able to:

- analyse an educational resource by exploiting the theorical insights covered in courses,

- design a didactic activity to be carried out during the internship (UE Stratégies pédagogiques) and justify their didactic, methodological and disciplinary choices.

 

At the end of this unit, students will be able to report:

- the axiology of the curriculum in FMTTN, which aims to be the vector of openness to the world by offering students the opportunity to develop a commom culture linked to four poles: manual, technical, technological and digital;

- trainings to teach their students.

The planned learning activities and teaching methods are diversified:

  • Personal work, group work,
  • Ex cathedra courses,
  • Critical analysis of educational resources,
  • Problem-based learning designed to promote systemic consideration of disciplinary (FMTTN), epistemological and didactic aspects.

This teaching unit is relates to the observation internship in the framework of the UE "Didactique et lieux de formation" and the internship in the framework of the UE "Stratégies pédagogiques".
