Learning unit contents

The practical professional activities are offered and managed by teaching staff depending on the options/fields chosen. They may include:

 

  • Participation in a research activity of a research unit
  • Participation in a clinical or field activity
  • Participation in both types of activity.

The unit involves integrating and implementing theoretical and methodological elements taught during the Bachelor's (general) course.

Développement professionnel du psychologue et du pédagogue - Pratique professionnalisante course (YSEM0004-1) is an extension of Développement professionnel du psychologue et du pédagogue - Approche course (YSEM0001-1) in Block 1.

The pre-requisites are:

 

  • Introduction à la psychométrie (PEDA4056-1).
  • Le pilier recherche dans l'Evidence-Based Practice (PSYC0085-2).
  • Déontologie générale du psychologue (PSYC0040-1).
 

 

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Each staff member responsible for the practical professional activities defines their expectations of the activities students are asked to do. The workload corresponds to 250 hours and includes preparing activities (lectures, information or training sessions) and participating in activities (including processing any data), drafting and defending an individual report and helping with analytical sessions.
