Learning unit contents
The course aims to provide training about the historical, theoretical and practical notions of flow cytometry and experimental in vivo imaging.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The course includes different parts:
- Introduction and basic principles of flow cytometry
- Common applications of flow cytometry, including notions of fluorescence and multi-color labeling.
- Introduction and basic principles of experimental in vivo imaging
- Common applications of experimental in vivo imaging
- Introduction to cell sorting (Fuorescence-Activated Cell Sorting)
- Demonstration of multi-color labeling, cell sorting and in vivo imaging
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Teach the necessary basics for an understanding of flow cytometry and experimental in vivo imaging, as part of the Doctoral training
