Audiovisual translation workshops. Introduction to AI tools for audiovisual translation.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, the students will be able to subtitle a video (intra- and interlingual subtitling), from the transcription, timecode-delineated lines to the final stage of adding the subtitles to the images. They will also be able to evaluate and compare different automatic transcription and translation tools, using performance and usability criteria.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Having been trained to the translation of general interest texts.
Excellent knowledge of the English language.
Exclusively for Francophones.

The students carry out the assignements at home (translation and complementary resarch) = continuous assessment. January Exam : deadlines communicated later on.
