We'll follow the most important moments of the history of European theatre, from the tragedy in ancient Athens to « postmodern » drama.
For each period, we'll see how contemporary directors reread the repertoire.

Objectives:
By using the methodology followed in this course, the student will develop a critical approach of contemporary theatre through history.

The plays mentioned in the course will be considered as read by students.
