Chirurgie du patient critique (TECH1003-1)
Workshop based on cardiac anatomy- Pierre BONNET
Polytraumatized
This course covers the acute management of the severely traumatized patient from the site of the extra-hospital trauma to the emergency department of the destination hospital. The management of the traumatized patient respects the ABCDE structure. Vital lesions are approached as they are discovered and must be managed before moving on to the next ones. Are addressed: - facial trauma and airway as well as alternative techniques to conventional intubation in case of difficult airway in the traumatized. - thoracic traumas. - hemorrhagic traumas. - cranial and cervical trauma. The concepts of security management, communication, and information transmission are abdicated.
