At the end of this teaching unit, the student will have demonstrated his/her ability to develop a proposal for innovation in materials science and to carry it through to the stage of formulating the technical concept and the implementation plan.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
General basic knowledge in materials science, supplemented by a possible specialization in a subject in the field.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Through regular discussions with the teacher, the student deals with the different stages of the innovation process. Depending on the comments and suggestions received, he or she deploys his or her project during the quadrimester taking into account the constraints imposed by the proposed concept.

Additional information:
The project will be presented and argued during an oral presentation. The evaluation will be based on the quality of the project, its presentation and the answers provided to the questions asked.
