Introduction to the planning cycle, indicators, key concepts, methods and approaches to evaluating health promotion programmes, including examples and case study(s).
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of the course is to:
- Present an overview of the main aproaches and methods used to evaluate public health programmes
- Propose a comprehensive conceptual, theoretical and methodological framework enabling students to:
- Understand the principles and basic elements favouring quality evaluations; and
- Use such evaluations to improve the critical analysis of interventions in which they are involved
