Learning unit contents
The aim of this course is to introduce the main principles of intervention in the field of child neuropsychology. The course will cover approaches aimed at optimising the child's cognitive functioning as well as environmental approaches focusing on the surrounding environment. The 15-hour course will focus on the management of attention, memory and organisation disorders, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. The challenges and limitations of treatment will be discussed.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of this teaching unit, students will be able to suggest ways of intervening to optimise children's cognitive functioning and their adaptation to their environment. They will be familiar with the foundations and limits of an interventional approach based on evidence from cognitive science research.

This course supposes having basic knowledge in clinical neuropsychology and in developmental cognitive psychology.
