Learning unit contents

1. The reality of the world of work today

2. The current state of work-related mental health

3. General and work-related psychopathology

4. Competence framework for work-related clinical practice

5. Analysis of problems/pathologies related to the worker and the world of work (e.g. burnout, trauma, borderline state, conflict, harassment, stress, boreout, perversion, depression, etc.)

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

1. To acquire the theoretical basis for understanding the current world of work, the challenges of work issues, the place and skills of the psychologist

2. To develop a critical reflection on the role of the psychologist in the treatment of work-related pathologies

3. To become familiar with the practice of the work clinic

4. To know how to analyze clinical vignettes

5. To develop a critical mind in relation to clinical and work clinic care

The course will not be offered face-to-face in 2024-2025. Course materials will be made available on the ecampus platform for students who have to take the course in 2024-2025.

The student will be required to turn in a handwritten clinical vignette and a student analysis of that clinical vignette. 

The oral exam will be based on this assignment.
