Learning unit contents

The objective of this course is to familiarize students with clinical psychology by making them aware of the scientific approach of this discipline.

The aim of this course is to familiarise students with clinical psychology by making them aware of the scientific approach of this discipline, which needs to be approached differently when dealing with the elderly.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this course sequence, the student will be able to understand the nuances existing between the different activities of the clinical psychologist.

It will have a better representation of the treatments and their expected benefits.

He will have knowledge from health psychology enabling him to understand the issues - for example - the importance of prevention and screening activities.
