Learning unit contents

General overview of Chinese language and Chinese culture.
Chinese pronunciation system: Pinyin (the phonetic transcription of Chinese).
Chinese character structure + about 50 words. (Vocabulary)
Basic grammar.
Communication in a simple way.

Familiar with the structure of Chinese and lay the foundation for the next step of learning.

- in class: explanation of grammar, presentation of pronunciation, vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension exercises, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary exercises.
- preparations and drills to be done at home every week.
