Learning unit contents
Each session explores a theme related to digital humanities and cultures: history of digital humanities, open access, digital publishing, code and programming, introduction to artificial intelligence, social networks, fake news and the information bubble, data modeling, data and documents, web archiving.
Other topics may be covered, at the suggestion of the students.
For each session, the student must read documents and prepare questions to understand and extend the material. The course is based on the principle of the flipped classroom, which requires active participation from students.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The learning outcomes are:
1. give the student an overview of what the digital humanities are at present;
2. put this movement in historical and social context;
3. introduce to digital culture.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Flipped classroom requiring the preparation of documents before each session and the active participation of students. Collaborative commentary on readings.
