Course organized in UCL
- Analysis of the major structures developed by organizational psychologists to understand the attitudes and behaviours of individuals at work: job satisfaction, involvement, organizational justice, perceptual functional support, performance, absenteeism, turnover, etc.
- Identification of the backgrounds, consequences, and variables associated to these concepts and analysis of their contribution to clarify these concepts.
- Analysis of models proposed in the literature to explain these attitudes and behaviours at work.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
By providing students with a knowledge of the psychology of individual conduct at work, this course aims to lead them to analyze the various elements of the employee-employer relationship and to learn the theories and models explaining the attitudes and behaviors of individuals at work as well as their practical implementation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
The course will be presented in various forms, alternating ex-cathedra presentations, illustrations, exercises and discussions.
If the health situation does not allow for on-site teaching, the course will be adapted so that it can be given on-line (either synchronously or asynchronously).
Course materials and recommended or required readings
The slides of the course will be made available to the students.
Students will be asked to complete a group work (preferably 3-4 students) consisting of the application and critical analysis of a concept learnt in the course. The exact details of this work will be specified later.
If the health situation does not allow students to meet together to safely complete their group work, the requested work can be done individually.
