Learning unit contents
Course contents:
Carried out in close collaboration with ID Campus, the course which is part of a program approach and aims to provide to the student a thorough understanding of the mechanisms of creativity and develop a working logic to support the creative process in a company.
To do this, an analysis of entrepreneur and intrapreneur creative process, in Belgium and elsewhere, the students will learn to identify the key success factors of such oriented approach "innovation". The students will also be discussed an approach to management of creativity in different environments. In particular, various tools to stimulate and promote creative and innovative logic in managing change projects.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
They aim in particular to enable students to:
- Develop a thorough understanding of creativity mechanisms
- Understand and appropriately mobilize the creative tools to:
* Problematizing
* Understand the needs of users
* Analyze speeches around the needs
* Generate solutions to identified needs
* Facilitate the convergence of views around the preferred solutions
In connection with the ILOs masters programs in Business Engineering and Management Science, the course objectives can be summarized as follows:
- Develop knowledge and understanding of students' innovative project management approaches
- Mobilizing adequate tools for innovative projects management
- Be able to work in teams
- Develop the student leadership
- Develop critical thinking of students
- Allow the draft, design and implementation of creative solutions
- Suggest innovative solutions, ethical, and socially responsible management issues that students face in their business project
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
After an overview of what is exactly creativity. The students will be asked to identify a common project that will mobilize during the 3 training days.
Through this project, students will make the round trip between theory (including in particular methodologies and practical tools of creativity) and practiced. These three days of training will be supplemented later by organizing "communities of practice", namely the sharing of experiences between students to build, starting from the practices and skills of each, knowledge and good practices in creativity and innovation. This is an opportunity for students to step back from their project and to collect feedback on their actions, through specialized coaches in creativity and innovation from ID Campus.

Participatory seminar built around a permanent back and forth between theoretical concepts into practice, sharing experiences and deepening change projects managed by students in companies
