Advanced geostatistical methods
Integrated exercise based on a real-life case study in Belgium or abroad: students, working as consultants, carring out a campaign of field observations and measurements to answer a land-use planning question on the scale of a small natural region. Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
Understand and prioritize soil influencing factors at the landscape scale according to the case study;
Design a field sampling methodology to assess soil characteristics and functioning within agro-ecosystems;
Make an integrated diagnosis of soil and land units and propose appropriate management solutions;
Work as a team in a consultancy office
