Learning unit contents
This course is a general introduction to the assessment methods of greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions, including the motivations that lead to carrying out these assessments.
The course includes 5 main parts :
1) Reminder : GHG emissions - effects on the climate
2) Strategic and operational carbon management
3) Assessment methods of GHG emissions - ISO 14084 standard
4) Methodology Bilan cabone (r) - detail of main points - GHG Protocol methodology
5) Practical example - group exercise.
Warning : this course is not a certified training course that would allow to be accredited to carry out a 'Bilan carbone (r)'. This type of certified training is given at HEC-Liege in the scope of a partnership agreement with the 'Association pour la transition Bas carbone' (ABC), Paris, owner of the property rights of the method, but is the subject of a specific training course.
