Learning unit contents
Through the course DIDAC II, we will continue to study throughly the topics explored during the cursus DIDAC I.
Various original didactic tools to build the learning will be experienced and analysed.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to: - build a complete lesson sequence, consistent with the expectations of the competency frameworks for secondary education and consistent with the most relevant pedagogical foundations, given the research in didactics; - satisfactorily implement several lesson sequences in secondary education; - be able to self-evaluate and justify choices based on pedagogical and didactic theories and grids; - to design original didactic tools adapted to the subjects to be addressed and to the public concerned.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The different parts of the exam DIDAC I must have been taked.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The second part of the didactics course is essentially made up of workshops focusing on different teaching modalities: exploiting digital tools in geography (virtual globes, map portals...), excursions and other field trips, simulation games, etc., and planning a course over a school year.

Classes and workshops take place on Wednesdays. The participation and involvement of everyone are necessary for the smooth running of the training system.

1. Formative evaluation: exercises carried out during the workshops, assessment (possible rating) by peers, teachers and supervisors.
2. Certificate evaluation
The evaluation of students' competences will be carried out in two ways:
- Written examination;
- Portfolio (finalisation/improvement of the productions made during the sessions), to be handed in at the end of the sessions.
The submission of the portfolio is required in order to be able to take the written exam.
A serious failure in the written examination or a serious failure in the portfolio leads to a failure in the teaching unit.

Organisational remarks and main changes to the course
Sessions take place on Wednesdays at the Institute of Geography - 1st floor - Grande salle de TP. A student who does not satisfy the requirements for access to the examination is not eligible to take it.
