Learning unit contents
This course, divided into two parts, analyses the following elements:
- 1st part
- The analysis of the important motor functions (walking and locomotion, prehension, balance, etc.)
- The classification of motor functions
- The analysis of the links between the motor domain and the cognitive domain
- Analysis of learning processes
- Fundamental motor education for healthy children
- 2nd part
- assessment of neuromotor troubles.
- rehabilitation and treatments.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of the course is to approach concepts related to the healthy child's motor development and the impact of this motor development on cognitive aspects. These elements allow the healthy child to learn fundamental motor abilities. The second part is dedicated to rehabilitation and treatments of cerebral motor palsy patients.
