Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Course of training of early childhood professionals, partim I.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
By groups, students will choose, among different proposals made par the lecturer, an internationally recognized, initial training system set in another country, analyse it and present it, in a critical and referenced way, to their peers. They refer to professionalization challenges identified, during courses of partim I, in the Brussels-Wallonia Federation to provide a background to their analysis. On the basis of ther referenced analysis, they will engage their peers in a debate.
The report they will write down includes the whole analysis, debates in the classroom and/or remotely. It proposes realistic, pertinent and contextualised regulation proposals for the Belgium context.
The lecturer will propose a file containing necessary articles and reports that will be extended to personal complementary resources. He will organize seminars about professionalization challenges with the possible contribution of experts in the field.
