In this course, the student will:
1. expand and deepen his knowledge of business German, for the four skills:
- listening
- reading
- speaking
- writing

- Arbeitszeugnisse und Bewertungen
- interkulturelle Unterschiede zwischen Deutschland und Belgien
- Aktuelles aus Deutschland
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This course will
- help students to demonstrate scientific precision and a critical mind.
- help students to communicate efficiently, internally and externally, about a company, organization or project.
- allow students to improve their proficiency in German as a foreign language
- allow students to raise their awareness of the multicultural and international features of their environment.
- encourage students to be curious and to show a scientific precision of academic level.
At the end of Master: B1+, even better if European level B2
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The student should already know German (European level B1).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
In the class room:
- brushing up the grammar rules
- discovering several chapters of the book (vocabulary, grammar)
- listening comprehension
- oral exercises
Home work:
- grammar and vocabulary exercises (for example on Lol@: online exercises)
- reading comprehension exercises
- written exercises
We'll regularly use multimedia engineering.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
24 hours in the class room + exercises at home and on Lol@.

Written exam (January): 40%:
- listening comprehension
- grammar and vocabulary
- writing an e-mail
Part of the written assessment will be organised as an online evaluation by an external agency - more information about this during the semester.
Oral exam and written home work: 60%
The student who doesn't take all the parts of the exam will become 0/20 as final mark.
