Learning unit contents

The course will focus on the conceptualization of reflective training in the main team sports, racquet and combat:

Some practical sessions will be carried out to illustrate concretely the notions seen in the courses:
- Specific muscular work.
- Specific speed work.
- Endurance work according to the context.
- Intermittent work (integration in a collective sport).

A planning group work in a specific sport context (co-sport, racket sport or combat sport) will be carried out throughout the quadrimester and will be subject to a longitudinal evaluation. 

-Meetings will be organized with experts in physical preparation and training.

The students will carry out 15 hours of active observation in one or two structures with physical preparation and evolving at least at a national level.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

-Maintain the general rules of planning and planning according to the sport -Adaptate an energy work according to planning and sport -Adapting a neuromuscular work according to planning and sport

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Upstream: Basics of sports training (3 BSM) and factors of sport performance and evaluation of athletic performance (2 BSM).
In co-requisites: conceptualization of training: part 1

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course discover the peculiarities of planning in major sports categories. It also seeks the reflexive approach.
The courses offered allow to discover the concept of physical préparatipon in real situations.

Additional information:

The theoretical exam will be a written and oral exam in person. It will account for 30% of the overall course evaluation. The internship and the internship report will count for 10% of the evaluation while the practical course will count for 5%. The physical tests will count for 10% of the grade.

The individual planning work and the oral defense of this work will count for 45% of the total course evaluation. 

A grade of less than 9/20 in any part of the course will result in failure of the entire course.

Work placement(s)

15h course (10h + 5h) with two physical trainers. A team sport and an individual sport must be observed.
