This practical teaching consists of participations in field research activities with the Professor and the members of the Fish Demography and Hydroecology Laboratory team, related to the ecology of inland water fishes. The research activitiés cover fish population dynamics, fish behavioural ecology and Hydoecology. Debriefing sessions and data processing exercises of data's acquired in the field are also planned according to the expectations of the students, eventually in relation with their Master thesis.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Learning and mastering of advanced research techniques to study the ecology and population dynamics of freshwater fish in inland waters

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

It is strongly advised to have followed in the past or to follow in parallel the theoretical course ZOOL2021-1 of ecology and dynamics of fish populations.
