Learning unit contents

Work placement in a company or in an administration related to the fields covered in the Masters in Geographic Sciences Geomatics orientation and more specifically related to the option chosen by the student (land surveyor or expert geodata)

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this teaching unit, the student will have gained experience in a professional environment. This includes a confrontation of academic knowledge with professional practice, but also the learning of soft skills such as communication, organisation, teamwork, etc.

The completion of the internship presupposes the prior successful completion of the courses of the option chosen by the student in Block 1 of the Master's program.

Additional information:

The evaluation combines in equal parts an evaluation of the internship by the host organization, an evaluation of the written work by the ULiège referee, an evaluation of the presentation and the answers to the questions by the jury (ULiège referee and representative of the host organization).
