Description:




  • Cardiovascular diseases are the number one cause of death globally, explaining why research is always developing in this field.
  • The aim of this course is a deep knowledge of pathophysiology of heart disease and progress in this field.
  • Basic concepts of cardiovascular structure and function from molecular biology to cadio-circulatory interaction will be developed. 
  • Prevention, diagnosis, epidemiology and clinical trials will complete the panel.
  • A particular chapter will address model simulation of the cardiovascular system.
