Introductory course to all specialized training in risk and disaster management in the era of the Anthropocene.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Part 1: A systematic approach

The natural and plural risks which threaten the planet: Context and case studies.

 

At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to:

  • Identification of the environmental and health issues of a situation or territory
  • Taking into account the political nature of positions in relation to the environment
  • Multi-scalar approach to environmental issues
  • Criticism and development of an environmental argument
  • Formulation of recommendations

Part 2: An introduction to basic concepts
