Learning unit contents

During their clinical practice, dental practitioners may face acute problems, potentially leading to patient harm. These situations may be linked to preexisting pathology and/or to the intervention of the dental practitioner itself. Indeed, dental practitioners occasionally use local and loco-regional anesthesia techniques that can have deleterious side effects. Those undesirable events have to be recognized and treated by the practitioner.
