Schedule
Units courses prerequisite and corequisite
Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program
Learning unit contents
Introductory course to the concepts, methods and standard tools for setting up a quality approach leading to the integrated quality management model. The course also covers the areas of risk management, human error and quality standards for health services. Practical work is required of the students.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Ensure the theoretical and practical training of the medical physicist at the stages of the implementation of a quality approach by the use of standard methods. Practical training consists of carrying out practical work applied to a safety or quality assurance problem identified by the student within a health service.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Cours "RADP0141-1 : Radioprotection" du premier master en sciences physiques ou cours équivalent.
Cours "RADI2001-1 : Radioprotection : Problèmes d'hygiène" du premier master en sciences physiques ou cours équivalent.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Theoretical course illustrated with practical examples. Practical work is required of the students.
Students will be required to take a class on a Saturday morning (time to be determined) which presents general quality assurance methods. Then, specific courses in radiotherapy, radiology, and nuclear medicine will be given. The student will try to make the link between the general course and the specific courses during his work which he will present for the exam.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Blended learning
Additional information:
Magistral courses in face-to-face and remotely.
Course materials and recommended or required readings
