Learning unit contents
Learning the assessment process in child neuropsychology, introduction to clinical reasoning in child neuropsychology, anamnesis, differential diagnosis, intellectual assessment methodology (in particular assessment of babies and young children, children with language delay), attentional and executive assessment in children, assessment of memory, social cognition, praxis and visuo-spatial functions.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The student will be able to carry out an anamnesis, analyze a request, formulate diagnostic hypotheses (in a differential diagnosis approach) to determine how to direct the investigations given the child's age and difficulties, to select the relevant tests and questionnaires given the complaints, to interpret the results of cognitive tests, to administer certain instructions and give a conclusion.

This course supposes having basic knowledge in clinical neuropsychology and in developmental cognitive psychology.
