Learning unit contents
The aim of this course is to integrate the content of the evaluation (PSYC0096) and intervention (PSYC0095) courses by means of clinical cases. These cases will also provide an opportunity to discuss with you specific issues to clinical practice in neuropsychology (assessment, rehabilitation, semiologies). Some topics have been chosen for their interest in being addressed at the end of your course, taking advantage of the courses you have already taken and the experience you have acquired during your internship(for example, ethical or deontological issues, or the problem of communicating the results of a neuropsychological assessment to the patient or his family, etc.) The course will thus enable you to go into greater depth on certain subjects that have been seen in a more superficial way in previous courses.
In concrete terms, two clinical vignettes will enable you to work in a group on the various stages of neuropsychological treatment, from the presentation of the conclusions to the construction of the material.
You will be required to:
- Role-play a conclusion and determine the treatment objectives
- Read about possible interventions and discuss them with experts
- Prioritise management
- Construct materials and conceptualise the intervention agenda
- Present the intervention logic and your material orally and in writing.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
- Carry out a concluding discussion with the patient and/or his family,
- Develop a therapeutic plan,
