Learning unit contents
- Description of the mechanisms that explain the different climates on a global and regional scale,
- Characterisation of the major types of climate on Earth,
- Description and analysis of the causes of past and present climate change.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- Identify and understand the basic mechanisms responsibles of main climatic processes at local and global scales,
- Describe the main types of climates
- Understand the causes of climate change and its impact on vegetal and human environment,
- Be able to extract the relevant information from a scientific document (texts, tables, graphs) in order to answer the questions posed by climate change.
