Schedule
Units courses prerequisite and corequisite
Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program
Learning unit contents
Table of content :
- zero gravity and microgravity
- physical phenomena in microgravity
- means for obtaining microgravity
- hypergravity
- designing an experiment
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The lecture aims to allow student better understanding the scientific motivations about micogravity. The second objective is either to design an original experiment (which could flight in the ESA Zero-G) or to visit installations simulating micro-gravity.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The lecture about complex fluids.Preparing a Master Thesis on a topic related to the professors.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
- microgravity in fluids, Plateau's experiment
- free fall tower
- visit of ESA equipment in Bordeaux (airbus) or Bremen (drop tower)
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
