Learning unit contents

This course is dedicated to the physics principles of atomic clocks. Cold atom physics is also teached.

To understand how atomic cloks work and the importance of cold atom physics.

The atomic physics course.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The teaching method is the ex cathedra mode. The essential of the course is presented with use of video data slides, completed with the use of the blackboard for the technical developments.

Face-to-face course.

Copy of all slides displayed during the theoretical lessons are available online.

Written examination.
