Learning unit contents
The internship aims to acquire advanced knowledge and skills in hospital neurological practice. It is based on daily hospital activity, in consultation, in the neurology ward and in the emergency department.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This internship aims to:
Increase your knowledge of the clinical management of the following disorders:
- Infectious and immune diseases of the central nervous system
- Acute management and secondary prevention of strokes
- Epilepsy
- Sleep and wakefulness pathologies
- Peripheral nervous system pathologies
- Dementia syndromes and diseases
- Hypo- and hyperkinetic movement pathologies
- Genetic pathologies with neurological expression
- Neurological expression of treatment side effects
- Principles of neuro-oncology
Increase yourl communication skills with the patient, their family, the care team and colleagues
Increase your ethical skills required by neurological practice
Increase your knowledge of the organization of health care and its economy.
Access to research projects and the publication of their results.
