Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The observation clerkship I to IV are the first step of medical practice with hospitalized patient.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Co and pre-requisites are detailed in the general Master Medical formation (global course program).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The observation clerkship complete diagnostic learning throughout a patient-centered approach.
According to the clinical service, different activities could be organized:
- Seminars and clinical case analyze
- The analyze of patient's records
- Medical consultation
- Patient visit into the hospital service
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Face-to-face teaching.
Course materials and recommended or required readings
The Clerkship complete the theoretical teaching and the PBL seminars whose whose slides and course notes are made available to students on MyULg and / or on eCampus websites.
