Student becomes able to describe a Vedic rite by himself.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The first two levels of Sanskrit are prerequisites, "Sanskrit III" and "Sanskrit Texts" are co-requisites.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course consists of reading with the students texts of varying difficulty that consider the same cultic sequence from different angles.
We usually begin by reading a descriptive treatise, with the relevant stanzas, followed by a commentary in analytical prose.
