Theory

Der Kursinhalt variiert jedes Jahr. In diesem Jahr liegt der Schwerpunkt auf Fragen der Migration und Mehrsprachigkeit innerhalb verschiedener Epochen.

 

Im Rahmen dieses Kurses wird der Besuch einer Theateraufführung im Theater von Lüttich organisiert.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Theory

The cours is mainly teached in German. To participate, you should be able to read complex and longer literary texts in German. We will also start to work with shorter articles of literary theory in German.

Texts should be read before each session (see programm distributed in the beginning and on ecampus).


At the end of the cours students should be able to analyse in a written and oral form literary texts of different genres and epoches. They should know scientific rules and methodolgy of literary theory.

Bibliographic research

Students should know and be able to apply basic rules of how quotation, creation a bibliography and make a pertinent choice of secundary texts.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Theory

Students should have completed the cours "Textes I" because the cours "Textes II" builds on knowlegde gained in "Textes I".

 

Good knowledge of German is necessary.

Schriftliche Aufgabe im Laufe des Semesters (Hausarbeit): 20%

Schriftliche und mündliche Prüfungen im Juni: jeweils 40% der Gesamtnote.

 

Exam:

1. Written analysis on one text that was seen in class (students can choose freely which text they would like to analyse but their choice has to be seen with me before students start to write): 20% of the final note

The use of tools like ChatGPT is not allowed.

2. written exam at the end of the semester: 40%

2. oral exam at the end of the semester: 40% (the written analysis will be a starting point for the oral exam)
