Written and oral exam in June.
The written exam will include various exercises in grammar, vocabulary and written expression (75% of the final mark).
Optional vocabulary tests will be organised during the year to help students study thematic vocabulary. Achieving a mark of 12 or above in these tests will give access to bonus points in the written exam.
The oral exam will consist of an oral presentation with Power Point of a topic chosen by the student based on 10 pages of texts from the Dutch-language press dating from the current academic year. (25% of the final mark)
ATTENTION: students must register with their teacher BEFORE 30 APRIL (in class or by e-mail) for the first session oral exam. After this date, their registration will not be accepted. In order for the registration to be validated, the student will have to send his/her text file, as well as a summary of it, by email. As a reminder, absence from any part of the exam = 0 for the whole exam.
In the second session, the written and oral exams will take place on the same day. Students may be exempted from the oral examination if they obtained a mark of 10 or more in the first session. Students may present the same file as in the first session at the oral examination if they did not present it in the first session. If they did, they must prepare a new file. Students must register by e-mail before 31 July.
