The textbook "Ter Zake" is used to introduce and develop the following subjects :

introducing oneself, speaking about one's hobbies, preferences, etc.
cultural differences (in business)
going to the restaurant
how to telephone (for business)
making an appointment
taking a message
writing an e-mail

The course objective is to prepare students to business situations in Flanders and in The Netherlands.

The written exam covers the content of the topics covered in class, basic grammar, reading comprehension and e-mail writing, and mastery of basic vocabulary.
