The course aims at acquiring the necessary techniques for consecutive interpreting

The student will have to translate the message of a Dutch text read by a speaker. He will take notes of the discourse and translate it into French

Consecutive interpretation at the university if possible
Otherwise, remote consecutive interpretation will be envisaged
Remote sessions will be organised because of the change of the interpreter's job.

This teaching unit ("Unité d'enseignement," or UE) is subject to the principle of the "note absorbante," which means that the student having obtained a mark below 8/20 for one of the learning activities ("activités d'apprentissage," or AA) will receive a failing grade for the entire unit and will have to retake the failed AA in the second session regardless of the mathematical average of the two AA grades
