General presentation of the archaeological research in Syria.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Introduction to the Syrian archaelogy + archaeology in Iraqi Kurdistan in the frame of the archaeology of the Near East.

+ Iconography of the Early Bronze Age

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

To have attended the general lecture during the 1st year of study entitled "History of art and archaeology : ancient Near East".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Regular attendance in class. Reading books specified in the bibliography.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

face-to-face : 30 h during the 2nd quadrimestre.
