Learning unit contents
We will reach both material and buildings. The techniques and standards nomrs specific to each type of artifact will be taught in theory and in practice. The initiation to drawing will be done from the collections available at ULiège and in partner institutions. CAD software will be discussed. A part of the course will be devoted to photography as well as to the softwares for its treatment. We will also look at how to format graphs and maps using specific programmes. The softwares for page setting will also be seen in order to compile graphic and textual information within a single document (poster, report, paper). Finally, we will discuss the supports for oral presentations.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Basic learning of drawing and photography in archaeology and history of art as well as the softwares used in these fields.
