Learning unit contents
This Mission aims to provide methods to identify entrepreneurial opportunities. The learning unit contents will cover the following:
- Introduction to the Entrepreneurial Mindset and Effectuation
- Opportunity Identification: Definition and Importance, Sources of Opportunities, Techniques for Identifying Opportunities
- Designing the Value Proposition
- Designing the Business Model Canvas
- Pitching and Presentation Skills
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the concept and importance of the entrepreneurial mindset in the modern economy.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities.
- Assess the business opportunities.
- Develop a business model canvas outlining the key components of a business opportunity.
- Present business ideas effectively to potential investors and stakeholders.

- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Basic research skills.

- Lectures: To introduce core concepts and theories.
- Case Studies: To analyze real-world examples of opportunity identification.
