Learning unit contents

The objective of this course is to tackle diffrent themes frequently encountered in clinical practice in Geriatric Medicine; for example the fear of falling, the frailty, the delirium, the question of adherence to treatments, ...

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

In this course, students will not only supplement the knowledge which they acquired in psychology of aging, but also will allow them to gain a logic of reflection and of intervention in geriatric. At the end of the course, students must be capable to position themselves as a psychologist.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Having completed the courses of the Clinical Psychology of Aging, and preferably having an internship on this theme.
