Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of the course, students will be able to

  • Perform an integrated diagnosis applied to an urban planning project (analysis of bio-physical characteristics on the project's site and connection to larger-scale territorial issues (hydrological watershed, ecological network, ...)
  • Conceive realistic development designs using nature-based solutions to optimize ecosystem services (hydrology, biodiversity, heat island, ....).
  • Quantify a set of ecosystem services
