Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Introduction to the petroleum upstream and contribution to the ongoing changes in the energy transition in order to reduce the GHG footprint

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

15 first hours of " Hydrocarbon origin and production " (GEOL0008-A-a) by Pierre Cornet

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Total of 12 hours of formal presentation and 3 hours of workshop to work out exercises  

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Course on Campus Sart Tilman the last week of Q1 (before Xmas holidays). 2 and an half day.
